How to Use Current Location Address

Current Location Address helps you check your address, coordinates, and map position from your browser, then copy or share the result.

Basic flow

  1. Select the Get my location button on the main screen or the current address page.
  2. Choose Allow when your browser asks for location access.
  3. Check that your current address, latitude and longitude, and map position are shown.
  4. If the result looks off, try again after a few seconds or check near a window or outdoors.
  5. Use the Copy address button when you only need to paste the address into another app.
  6. Use Share address to send the result through a messenger or text app.
  7. Use the current location weather menu in the header when you also need local weather.

What you can check

  • Current address: Check the street address or nearby administrative area.
  • Coordinates: Use latitude and longitude for field notes or map searches.
  • Map position: Confirm the location visually when the address text is not enough.
  • Copy and share: Copy or share the address without typing it again.

Tips for better accuracy

  • GPS accuracy can drop indoors, underground, or inside tall buildings.
  • Keeping Wi-Fi and mobile data enabled can help your device estimate location.
  • If the first result looks unusual, wait a few seconds and check again before sharing.
  • If you denied location access, re-enable it from the site settings next to the address bar.
  • For deliveries or meeting points, confirm both the address and the map position.

If it does not work

  • If the permission prompt does not appear, check location permission in your browser site settings.
  • On mobile, device-level location services must be enabled in addition to browser permission.
  • If the address only shows a broad area, try again outdoors or check your network connection.
  • Office or school networks and VPNs can make the location result differ from your real position.

Location information

Location lookup only starts after you press the button and allow permission. The result is shown using your browser and device location features, and you decide whether to copy or share it.

Useful situations

Use it when you need to tell a delivery driver or friend where you are, explain your current place while traveling, or record coordinates during field work. Checking both the address and map position helps you share the same place more accurately.
